| I've been offered a very large sum of money by a foundation in the U.K that helps create financially sustainable solutions or claims to. I'm not sure if its a scam or not because it almost seems to good to be true. They have a website (http://www.shellfoundation.org/) that seems pretty believable, but they are offering me close to $4 million and some guy is sending e-mails from Nigeria. Also they are asking me to send them $375 before they send me my check. They say its for insurance, but I'm just not sure. Has anyone else ever gotten anything like this before or know of someone who has??? |

OMG, DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!!!!! This has scam written all over it! The tell tale signs are that a) someone from Nigeria is contacting you about this
b) they want a $375 security deposit
c) there is no way someone is going to offer out $4 million to just anyone
i know these things sound tempting, especially with the way today's economy is, but please don't fall for this. this is how those scam artists make their money. DON'T DO IT! |

Scroll down to the bottom and read the section beginning with "WARNING." These types of email scams are VERY prevalent these days. |

Thank you so much! I'm glad I asked before I actually fell for it. I knew it was way to good to be true |

A good rule of thumb: If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. :D |
