Hair style?

I'm naturally a brunette, which lightens and darkens with the seasons. Last winter I put dark lowlights in it and then had choppy long bangs. I've grown out my bangs since. I've never fully dyed my entire head, always very conservatively added high/low-lights. In August I decided, wth, I'll go for a change and dyed my hair dirty blonde. Some of my brunette roots are starting to come in so I have to dye it again. Should I go back to brunette or stay blonde-ish? I'm also thinking of getting bangs again. I've posted two pics, one brunette, one after dying it. What do you think?

i am naturally brown (similar to your first pic), and for the last 10 years i have been every shade of blonde, from dark to platnuim, all over and highlights. i have also gone all the way back to black and then back to nearly white again (gradually) at least 3 times. anyway, the blonde always looks good, but every time i go back to my natural brown everybody says how much better it looks! so after my last look of very light blonde with waist lenght real hair hair extensions (which i hated!), i decided i was sick of looking "fake", so i got the extensions out and had my hair put back to it's natural brown, and i get treatments in the salon every week and it's the best it's ever looked! just below the shoulder length....

i really want to grow it long long (to the waist), but it wasn't growing any longer then this and the hairdressers told me that if i kept bleaching it and over straightening it, it would never grow that long! so no more bleach, very occassional ghd-ing, leaving it to dry naturally most of the time, regular trims and weekly intensive treatments.....and hopefully by next summer i will have natural, healthy, shiny hair.

anyway, yep! i know the blonde is addictive....but the brown looks better! and it will be so much healthier! besides..... EVERYBODY is blonde these days! think angelina jolie + adrianna lima!

I agree w/ hazytori - I like the brunette beter! I am currently trying to get rid of my blond and go brunette. Only thing stopping me is my fiance Cheesy Grin

You look much better as a brunette, very pretty. The blonde washes you out and doesn't really do anything for you. The brown definately makes you stand out more and compliments your features and skin color. Brunette for sure!

I'm naturally dirty blond and have been bleaching my hair for 4 years. I wanted the Girls Next Door hair. Luckily I didn't need extensions because it grows like a weed and is to the middle of my back. I'm going brunette next week! Yikes! I'm scared! But it's just hair! I love your hair brunette! Hope mine looks that good!
